Chris graduated from Yale University and got his professional start as an associate producer on the acclaimed ESPN athlete profile show, THE LIFE.
Working under an Emmy Award-winning producer, he quickly rose to segment producer and spent the next three years honing his storytelling craft on shows for ESPN, TLC and the Discovery Channel.
In 2003, Chris moved from New York to Los Angeles, shifted his focus from documentary storytelling to narrative features and served a one- year stint as a creative executive at Union Entertainment before setting out on his own to launch Fourth and Forever Pictures.
As partner and creative director of Fourth and Forever, Chris developed and packaged numerous independent film projects, working closely with directors such as Domenica Cameron-Scorsese (SPANISH BOOTS) and Jeremy Passmore (SPECIAL), and executive producer Michel Shane (CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, HOUNDDOG and I, ROBOT).
In early 2008, Chris joined the Netflix digital content acquisitions team where he spent the following two years working with major Hollywood studios, television networks and independent distributors licensing film and television content for Netflix’s rapidly expanding and highly successful Watch Instantly service. His time at Netflix has proven invaluable and has provided Chris with a vast network of distribution relationships, as well as a unique understanding of both the traditional and the non-traditional distribution landscapes.
In addition to several film and television projects currently in development with partner Scott Brooks, Chris just produced (with ManInHat Productions,Tribeca, NYC) the very first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Special in 3D, soon to be distributed by Sony Entertainment.
Scott Brooks
Writer & Director
Scott is an artist, writer, director, serviceable actor and remarkable text messager.
After graduating from Harvard in 2001, Scott moved to Los Angeles and began working at CAA in the Motion Picture Talent Department. During his time there as a clinically tardy but thoroughly entertaining assistant, Scott met future boss and mentor Peter Farrelly. In 2003, he joined Peter, Bobby Farrelly and producer Bradley Thomas on the set of STUCK ON YOU. He worked under their production banner, Conundrum Entertainment for the next year, through post-production on Fox Searchlight's THE RINGER.
After being taken on by literary agents at CAA, Scott moved to New York to focus on writing (and chase a girl he'd written a script about.) (The relationship would not last, but) Upon returning to LA, Scott optioned his first feature comedy BETTING ON BRITTANY BARNES to Intrepid Pictures in 2007. Since then, Scott has worked on a number of writing assignments, including a campaign for "The New FEDEX Tracking" as well as punching up the screenplay for Fox's ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKUEL with director Betty Thomas.
Additionally,
Scott has created, produced and starred in "Fantasy Over Reality", a
Web-based sitcom about a league of obsessed fantasy football 'owners' as they
vie for their coveted championship. The series also featured the debut of a handful of current NFL football
stars.
